Design overview:

Jade Beach is a 51 story high-rise condominium tower of 248 residential units, located on the East margin of Collins Avenue, in Sunny Isles Beach.
A 4 story pedestal structure rises 76 feet above street level, allowing the tower two story atrium to overhang up above the shoreline, over the East margin.
The tower rises 550- feet on a “fill and void” sculptural mass, emphasizing verticality among its sheer walls, intersecting continuous glass-projecting balconies.
The atrium recomposes “the curvilinear shape of a liner prow stands out to sea”, while the North and South wings, allocating the tower vertical cores and service areas, completes the pedestal footprint.
The atrium East façade is defined by an angular concave- convex curtain wall, limited by two burl wood cladding sheer walls ranging from 18 to 27 feet, and surrounding a central stainless steel colonnade. Sharp angular ceiling drops, resulting of the interior projection of the access canopy structure, serve to articulate those sheer walls horizontally, enclosing the two story atrium, which projects over the main pool and the Atlantic Ocean.
The atrium central axis articulates the stainless steel colonnade and the dark granite floor covering diagonal pattern, driving the circulation flow towards the vertical cores.
The atrium access level allocates the building reception and public seating area, distributing the building administrative offices on the North wing and the mail room and a bamboo garden on the South one.
The level down below the atrium, allocates the community room and the children’s day care, both spaces anchored by an open bar that escalades up to the pool deck, outdoor jacuzzi and beach level.
Up- above, at mezzanine level, a glazing bridge slab overhangs the lobby, interconnecting the third level North wing men and women spa and the South wing fitness center, respectively.
This glazing bridge slab extends towards the street, formally configuring the tower pedestal access canopy, also allocating an alternative sunset pool deck over viewing Collins Avenue.
