Design overview:

The project entailed the renovation of the two stories, Metropolis & Royal Palm suites, at the 33^rd and 34^th floors of the Intercontinental Hotel, located in Downtown Miami, over the Biscayne Bay shoreline.
The design intent was to contemporize the two story and 3,300 sq. ft. suites, redistributing the main functions within the existing structure.
A central foyer distributes the suite circulation to both floors, a central living area and a perpendicular axis corridor towards the dining room and kitchen area on the Northeast wing, and the master suite and master bath on the Southeast wing at the first floor.
Up above a staircase run into a private office and a perpendicular axis corridor overhanging the first floor living area. A multimedia room and a service bathroom complete the second floor.
Minimal open spaces, purist’s line furniture, pastel colors and textures, conceptually define the overall minimalism, where contemporary living get mixed within Downtown urban fabric.
